With your foundation certificates, you can apply to the Temenos Advanced Certificate in the Application of the Polyvagal Theory in Counseling & Psychotherapy with Maggi McAllister-MacGregor.
The advanced course will include 30 hours of training over 2 weekends, skills practice and an assessed piece of writing.
This course follows on from the 25-hour Foundation Certificate in The Application of the Polyvagal Theory in Counselling and Psychotherapy. The foundation certificate covered the theoretical aspects of the theory and its application in counselling and psychotherapy practice.
The aim for the Advanced Certificate is to integrate your learnings from the workshops. The course will be experiential to support your understanding of the Polyvagal Theory, learning the theory from the ‘inside out. We will explore our Autonomic Nervous System in real time and directly with others in a group learning experience.
The course will be held over two weekends running from Friday afternoon until Sunday lunch time.
Course Timetable: Each weekend will consist of a mix of ‘Process’ and ‘Practice’ carried out in both the large group and two smaller groups.
The course will include a written Assignment
Applications for the course are welcomed from colleagues who have completed the Foundation Certificate in the Application of the Polyvagal Theory. The application process will include a 30-min interview via Zoom.
The number of participants will be limited to 20 for each training.
You ll be able to apply to the ADVANCED certificate training once you 've received your Foundation certificate.

It usually takes 7 days, for our team to check all the documents and requirements. Once it s been accepted, you will be able to download the digital certificate.

Non-fungible tokens, often referred to as NFTs, are blockchain-based tokens that each represent a unique asset like a piece of art, digital content, or media. An NFT can be thought of as an irrevocable digital certificate of ownership and authenticity for a given asset, whether digital or physical. NFT's are a relatively new technology that Temenos believes will transform adult education and certification.
You need to have completed all the requirements from the Foundation Certificate /send us all your qualifications in Counselling and psychotherapy or let us know where you are in your training if you are a student/have an interview with a Temenos tutor /select the training you are interested in (online or Residential)/register on a waiting list to join a group and wait for our confirmation after the first interview.
We're running one Online training and one Residential training for the Advanced certificate in The Application of The Polyvagal Theory in Counselling & Psychotherapy. The Residential training will be delivered in Derbyshire, the 16-17-18 of Sept 2022 and 2-3-4 of Dec 2022. The Online training, using the platform zoom will take place on the 4-5-6 of Nov 2022 and 3-4-5 Feb 2023.
