Internal Family Systems model founded by Richard Schwartz for inner child healing. Bessel Van Der Kolk on IFS: “the treatment method that all clinicians should know to treat clients effectively”.

Some clients gain a lot from moving positions, in the room, and talking from a part where their part really gets the opportunity to express themselves and be heard (voice dialogue) whilst other clients prefer the more internal and guided work of IFS. Structural Dissociation provides a sold theory to help clients understand their different parts whilst providing the therapist with the neurological understanding.
