You can use your Foundation Certificate to apply for the Temenos Advanced Certificate in Somatic Trauma Theory and Skills with Kate Williams
The Advanced Certificate training course will include 30 hours of skills practice, supervision with Kate Williams and an assessed piece of writing.

More information about the Advanced Certificate

This course follows the 20-hour Foundation Certificate in Somatic Trauma Theory and Skills. The foundation certificate covered the theoretical aspects of the theory and its application in counselling and psychotherapy practice.

The Advanced Certificate aims to integrate your learnings from the workshops hosted by Onlinevents. This course provides a framework in which to use trauma skills safety.
Upon completion, you can describe yourself as a Trauma-informed counsellor. This is subject to you being in regular supervisor with a trauma-informed supervisor.
Trauma research, theory and practice are now underpinning the work we do as therapists and counsellors need to have an in-depth understanding of trauma along with an experiential knowledge of somatics and body-mind theory, which supports the bottom-up work of trauma recovery.
Each weekend will consist of a mix of ‘Process’ and ‘Practice’ carried out in both the large group and in smaller groups.
